This screening features Liliane de Kermadec’s sophomore feature, Aloïse, a newly restored film that introduces audiences to an unjustly forgotten giant of post–New Wave French cinema. The film will be preceded by Qui donc a rêvé?, de Kermadec's first short, undertaken shortly after she worked as a set photographer. The Friday May 15th screening includes an introduction by filmmaker Theda Hammel.
