Roxy Cinema presents its 12th 'Peculiar Puppets' retrospective, featuring a curated collection of forgotten vintage short films from 1930s-1970s, including hand puppets, ventriloquist dolls, marionettes, and stop-motion creatures. These prints are hand-selected from early animation archivist and historian Tommy José Stathes' personal 16mm film archive. The 90-minute film presentation includes an intermission and will be followed by a live Q&A session with Stathes.
