Shot over eight years, this limited series by "Winter’s Bone" director Granik makes its New York theatrical premiere at Metrograph. It follows ex-con-turned-CEO Coss Marte in his day-to-day operation of ConBody, a Lower East Side fitness center, providing stripped-down workouts and offering a second chance to formerly incarcerated individuals through employment as trainers. The film tells an extraordinary story of not only one man beating the odds but also of many men and women striving to reintegrate into a society they have become alienated from while on the inside.
