The Image

Metrograph

Radley Metzger's "The Image" is a detailed exploration of boundary-pushing themes, with characters navigating the edges of societal taboos. The film adapts the infamous S&M novel L’Image (1956). Notably, this was the only film Metzger released under his real name during his 'Henry Paris' period, cleverly subverting his usual pseudonym practice.
