Payton McCarty-Simas guest-selected these three films for their kaleidoscopic view of festering loves, showcasing different flavors of outsider angst, frustration, and rage spurred by patriarchy. In making DEPRISA, DEPRISA, director Carlos Saura populated his cast with actual denizens of the Madrid streets to tell the story of youth on the edge of doom. The screening will be introduced by Payton McCarty-Simas.
