The Maysles Documentary Center is hosting a screening of "Monk in Pieces" and "Weaving Anni Albers." Following the films, there will be a post-screening discussion with director Billy Shebar and director Alessandro del Vigna. Billy Shebar is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, and Alessandro Del Vigna is a filmmaker of Italian-Romanian origin making his directorial debut with Weaving Anni Albers.

This mosaic illuminates Monk's unique sound and imagery through interviews with Björk and David Byrne. Weaving Anni Albers is a hypnotic journey into the work of a Bauhaus key figure and textile art pioneer, Anni Albers, who transformed weaving into art and was the first textile artist to have a solo exhibition at MoMA.
