Haunted: Films by Joshua Gen Solondz

Japanese American artist Joshua Gen Solondz presents four of his experimental films on 35mm, alongside a new work-in-progress. His flickering visions, mediated by torn, scratched, and painted celluloid, explore the mundane, profane, comic, and ghastly elements of existence. Ordinary objects gain totemic charge, and landscapes become part of an unstable psychic geography under Solondz's spasmodic eye.
