This potent blend of political thriller and sports drama, co-directed by an Iranian and an Israeli filmmaker, tells the story of Leila, an Iranian judoka. During the World Judo Championship, Leila faces an ultimatum from the Iranian Republic: withdraw from the tournament or risk her family's freedom, creating conflict with her coach, Maryam, played by Amir herself. The screening includes Khat, Amir's first short film, produced when she was 18.
