Dale Cooper’s doppelgänger orchestrates a dreadful death for his own son, Richard Horne, via electrocution before heading to Twin Peaks, where he is shot down by Lucy Moran. His corpse releases an orb inhabited by the corrupting spirit of BOB, which is then pummeled into submission by Freddie, a cockney lad fulfilling his predestined purpose. The real Cooper, now awake and memory restored, travels back in time to prevent Laura Palmer's murder, leading to a disturbance in the timeline and his eventual encounter with a waitress resembling Palmer in Odessa, Texas, prompting a misguided attempt at a reunion in Twin Peaks.
